Elsa: Unleashed

It's Always Been the Mustang
I have been a fan of the Mustang almost my entire life. The passion started when my mom bought me my first car when I was 16. It was a 1992 LX... and the love was born. However, I didn't truly realize how deep the rabbit hole I would go. My nameless '92LX was "bequeathed" to a family member when I enlisted in the US Army, and I never saw her again.
But little did I know, this was the spark that would set my love for the pony car ablaze. My second Mustang was a '64 1/2 coupe named "Stacy." However, this is a touchy one as selling it just under two years after I bought it is undoubtedly the biggest regret in my life. But this is where I learned that the Mustang is touted as one of the most modifiable vehicles in the automotive industry: BOLT ON POWER! Hey! I can do that. So, it started with a larger big-ass carb and upper intake and ended with a disk brake conversion.
My third Mustang was my "dream car." A '91 GT convertible that I mildly modified with a larger throttle body, weight reduction, and upgraded fuel system. Yet another touchy one as life events dictated that I sell her.
Patience, time, and a splash of maturity pays off. I didn't even realize what I was seeing when a '24 Mustang drove by me on the highway. I just saw a nice, techie cockpit. But as this black convertible beauty rolled by me I saw the unmistakable tri-panel taillights, and the smoldering embers galloped back to life. I traded in my 2020 Tahoe Premier RST (performance modified, of course) for Elsa. This is where the age, patience, and maturity came in. When it came time to investing, I knew exactly what I wanted and I settled for nothing less. The GT Premium package.

Tragedy struck Elsa in October 2025. While leaving the hospital parking garage where I work, I struck a concrete pillar totaling Elsa. Waivered, I took the settlement check, adopted Elsa 2.0 (a 2025), painstakingly transferred every modification and Elsa 2.0 was born. Before you even ask... no. I was not doing "Mustang shit."
